Debra Hoyle
Debra studied acupressure with Sam McClellan at the School for Integrative Acupressure in Haydenville, Mass., receiving an Associate Certification in 1994. She enriched her understanding of acupressure in Process Acupressure courses with teacher and originator Aminah Raheem.
She then pursued studies in CranioSacral Therapy with the Upledger Institute and completed courses in advanced Somato-emotional techniques, and is a teaching assistant in CranioSacral classes.
Debra has received Reiki I and II after studying with Reiki Master Marilyn Silbergleid Stewart in the late’90s.
She has also taken various classes in Zero Balancing, Body Mind Centering, and Ethics. All of these experiences inform her work and she continues to deepen her understanding by finding ways to seek more professional development.
One of these ways is through her Mindfulness Based Stress Release practice which has been cultivated through courses offered by ‘Present Moment Mindfulness’ in Northampton, Mass. These are teachings based on the work of Jon Kabat- Zinn. Debra is also affiliated with the Insight Meditation Society in Barre, Mass.
She is a volunteer with the Hospice of FranklinCounty and is a member of the following organizations: the International Association of Healthcare Practitioners, the CranioSacral Therapy Association, the ShelburneFalls Area Business Association, and the Deerheart Lodge community.
Debra has been nationally certified by NCBTMB since 1994, and is the sole proprietor of Conway Healing Arts, 46 Main St., Conway, Mass.
